You can use this guide however you’d like to inspire your writing — for free writing during school, or as an activity at home.

If you’re not quite sure how to get started, here are some creative ways you can pick a prompt:
- Count the number of red cars that pass your house in ten minutes. Use that number to pick your prompt.
- Scan the list and use the first prompt that stands out to you.
